LOMAC

Here i will put screenshots, links and information about the upcoming sim Lock On Modern Air Combat made by SSI/GAME studios/The Fighter Colection. AS LOMAC gets closer to relaese more stuff will be put here. This page might be slow to load as there is a LOAD of screenshots.

Theres the screenies more will be coming in dec-feb when the promotion gets moving. The LOMAC engine is based on the flanker 2.0/2.5 one and the code shares about 70% cominality with it (is that even a word ??? :) ) the jets flyable in LOMAC are divided into 6 basic jets

A-10 Warthog (usa)

F-15C Eagle (usa)

SU-27 Flanker (russia)

MiG-29 Fulcrum (german and russian)

SU-25 Frogfoot (russia)

And there is also the naval versions of the Flanker (SU-33) and Fulcrum (MiG 29k) and frogfoot (SU-39).

The official site at the moment is flanker2.com. There is also a good message board there as there is at simHQ.com where is you have any questions that you have you can ask them there.

The cockpits looklike there gonna be 3d. But they looks great.

And that shot is an early development shot. (the lack of HUD). That pit is from the F-15 a less advanced one avionically wise is the A-10

these two shots are wide angle shots i think the game will have 3 levels of zoom wideangle, medium and close.

Another unique feature of LOMAC will be the different skins for each aircraft. For example in most games if four f-16s were flying together in formation on the tail of each aircraft you would see 'MO 1967'. Hoever in LOMAC each jet will have its own tailcode. A further evolvement of this is actual different skinned jets operating beside each other i.e a green camouflaged A-10 flying in formation with a grey A-10. (DISCLAIMER: Screenshots on this page are alpha work and thus may be due to change before the release of LOMAC. Also the quality of these shots are not representative of the final graphics as the pictures have been compressed to fit on the page and are in .jpg file format.
